Little Shoots Class
K3 & K4 Preschool
K3 & K4 Preschool
This class is designed to provide our preschoolers with a joyful and gentle introduction to their time at The Grove. Our morning includes living picture books, singing and movement, time outside, and plenty of open-ended play. We will spend the year introducing a new letter each week and offering many hands-on activities throughout the year.
It’s a sweet, steady rhythm where kids begin to practice habits like listening, helping, and being part of a group, without pressure or formality. We’re focused on cultivating a spirit of wonder, the habit of attentiveness, and a love of learning!
This year at The Grove, the Little Shoots will have a precious year together! The joy of a Charlotte Mason-inspired education for our preschoolers is focused on fostering a love for learning, developing good habits, and nurturing a child's natural curiosity and wonder about the world around them.
The hope is that these students:
Cultivate a love for learning through exposure to nature, literature, art, music, and letter-based play.
Encourage the development of good habits such as attentiveness, obedience, and self-discipline through routine and consistent expectations.
Nurture a child's curiosity and wonder by providing opportunities for hands-on exploration and discovery and ample time for outdoor play.
The supply fee for each Little Shoot is $50. These fees cover weekly craft supplies, books, and activities for this class.
